Lori Larkin has been performing as a jazz vocalist for 30 years in the Pacific NW Region, primarily in Seattle, Washington and surrounding areas. Lori sings jazz standards in a straightforward style with warmth and emotion, adding intimate inflection through the story of the song. She has performed at local clubs, music venues and fund raisers in and around the greater Seattle area, including The Fireside Room - Sorrento Hotel, Seattle's Columbia Tower and popular restaurants like Picolinos Ristorante, Cafe Vignole, and St Cloud's.
Lori spent several years performing with the Seattle Central Jazz Orchestra under the direction of noted musician and educator Lonnie Mardis, appearing regularly at Tula's Restaurant & Jazz Club. She also sang in a 1940s-era vocal trio with Bill Sheehan's Tuxedo Junction Big Band - The Kilroy Sisters - singing Andrews Sisters style wartime tunes.
For more than a decade Lori lived in Washington's San Juan Islands where she performed regularly with the San Juan Jazz Quartet and with the One More Time Swing Band.
In 2022, Lori relocated to beautiful Boise, Idaho. She performs periodically at Chandlers, one of Boise’s premier jazz venues, and will be appearing in the upcoming months at several popular live music spots in Boise, such as The Sandbar and Bar365 at the Riverside Hotel, along with performances at private clubs and events.
Lori offers live jazz in duo, trio, and quartet formats for public venues and private events across the Treasure Valley and greater Boise area.
